InvestCEC is a Horizon Europe project which has received funding from the European Union. The website is administered by the partner responsible for project communication, Greenovate! Europe, registered at Avenue Louise 231, 1050 Brussels, Belgium. This privacy policy will explain how InvestCEC uses the personal data we collect from you when you use our website and fill in the Call for Enterpreneurs form.

InvestCEC collects the following data:

  • Personal identification information (name, email address, organisation)
  • General (aggregate, non-personal) information including internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks.

We collect data and process data when you:

  • Register to our newsletter via the form on our website.
  • Use or view our website via your browser’s cookies.
  • Fill in the Call for Entrepreneurs form.

InvestCEC collects your data so that we can:

  • Email you our newsletter and updates about the project.
  • Monitor the number of users visiting our website. This monitoring is important due to the fact we are publicly funded and must be able to prove to our funder that the project is reaching a wide audience.

Greenovate! Europe stores your data on secure servers that are managed by us and our service providers. We are based in Brussels, Belgium so your data will be processed in Europe.

Our mailing list is stored by email marketing company Sendinblue. All their data centres are located in the European Union, and your account data is encrypted before being backed up across three geographically distinct servers.

Enspire. Science ltd, as the consortium coordinator based in Israel, stores the personal data of the Call for Entrepreneurs using secure servers.

We would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:

  • The right to access – You have the right to request copies of your personal data.
  • The right to rectification – You have the right to request that InvestCEC correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request InvestCEC to complete the information you believe is incomplete.
  • The right to erasure – You have the right to request that InvestCEC erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
  • The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that InvestCEC restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
  • The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to InvestCEC’s processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
  • The right to data portability – You have the right to request that InvestCEC transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
