KLIMIS

KLIMIS has developed a method to produce barbecue briquettes from olive pits. The company has a long heritage of using olive pits as fuel for heating limestone to produce quicklime for construction and agriculture purposes. The new process, invented in 1992, re-uses and up-cycling the combusted olive pits to create odourless and smokeless barbecue briquettes.

RE.TE

RE.TE focuses on improving the circular economy by collecting and properly sorting and recycling hazardous waste. The service is currently operating in Venice, where many people do not have easy access to recycling centres. RE.TE fills this gap by providing a collection service for schools, hotels, retailers and the local community.
